London: Jodie Marsh is said to be taking immense pride in showing off her muscular new look after transforming from glamour girl to bodybuilder.
Jodie, 32, has gone from a size ten dress size to a size six in seven weeks after a gruelling regime of weights and dieting.
And at the weekend her efforts seemed to have paid off as she came fifth in a qualifier for the Natural Physique Association British championships.
“This is the best I``ve ever felt — and the best my body``s ever felt,” the Sun quoted a delighted Jodie as saying.
“In 50 days I have gone from 25 per cent body fat to ten per cent, gained 8lb of muscle and lost 20lb of fat.
“I``m really happy I``m going home with a trophy. If I can do this in a few weeks then what else can I achieve with more training time?” she added.
Jodie first began pumping iron two years ago but she went into overdrive as she prepared for the competition.
She gave up alcohol and adopted a strict diet of fruit, egg whites, wholemeal toast and protein shakes.
