Los Angeles: Filming on Justin Timberlake`s new movie `Now` has stopped after the singer-actor injured himself on the set while pulling a stunt.
The `Social Networking` star was in Los Angeles filming the sci-fi film with `Mamma Mia!` star Amanda Seyfried, when he was hurt after a stunt went awry, reported E! online.
"Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol`s thriller `Now`. Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly," said the production company.
The 28-year-old actor was spotted on crutches last Thursday after the incident and is still awaiting the results of tests conducted the following day.
An insider added, "[He] hasn`t heard anything about the MRI results, but they`re freezing production until he`s off crutches and able to act again."
