Lady Gaga tested for lupus
London: American singer Lady Gaga has been tested for lupus. It is the same genetic disease that killed the singer`s aunt.
Lupus is a disease that causes the immune system to attack the body
The 24-year-old singer has sought medical advice for a number of problems including breathing difficulties, blurred vision, stress and headaches since 2009.
But Gaga said that she does not want her fans to worry about her health.
"Yes, I have been tested. But I don`t want anyone to be worried. I have heart palpitations but it`s OK. It`s just from fatigue and other things," a news daily quoted Lady Gaga as telling the Times.
"I`m very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It`s a very personal thing. I don`t want my fans to be worried about me," she added.
