London: Rocker Ozzy Osbourne will now give health tips through his new column for a British newspaper and says if people will learn from his stupid mistakes, it will be enough for him.
The rocker, who has signed up as the new health expert for The Sunday Times, was surprised on receiving the offer.
"When The Sunday Times magazine asked me to be its new health-advice columnist... I thought they were joking, to be honest with you," said Osbourne, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"But then I thought about it for a while, and it makes perfect sense - I`ve seen literally thousands of doctors over my lifetime, and spent well over 1 million pounds ($1.43 million) on them, to the point where I sometimes think I know more about being a doctor than doctors do," he added.
He says he will be more than happy to help others to overcome health problems.
"If people can learn from my stupid mistakes without having to repeat any of them, or if they can take some comfort from the crazy things my family has been through over the years... that`s more than enough for me."
Osbourne will start his column later this summer.
