Pregnant Lily Allen takes a tumble

London: Lily Allen who is three months pregnant with her first child had to be taken to a doctor after taking a fall at a restaurant.

The `Smile` singer tweeted about the injury and told her fans that she is being treated for whiplash after falling over in the lobby of The Wolseley in London`s Piccadilly.

The 25-year-old singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper, tweeted fans that she had hurt her neck after falling.

"I fell over in the foyer of The Wolsley this morning. Tres embarrassing. Hurty wrist. My neck hurts...At the docs. Its whiplash (sic)," tweeted the singer.

Allen announced last month she and 31-year-old Cooper are expecting their first child together.

But it did not come as a surprise as the singer has made no secret of her wish to become a mother, saying in earlier interviews that she hoped to be pregnant by the end of the year.

"I`d want to be really hands-on for the first two or three years of having a little one. I don`t want to leave them," Allen had said while announcing a five-year break from the music industry to concentrate on starting a family.

"I don`t think I`m that young to have a baby. My mother had me when she was 23," she had said.
