London: Actor Russell Crowe cut a very portly figure during a day out with his family on the Sydney beach, a far cry from his `Gladiator` days.
The 46-year-old actor is enjoying some time off after starring in Ridley Scott epic `Robin Hood` and has piled on the pounds.
He was photographed on the Sydney beach during a day out with wife Danielle, 41, and sons Charlie, 7, and Tennyson, 4, reported Daily Mail online.
Unlike other Australian celebrities like Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, Russell lives full time in Sydney and only flying out to the US when work requires them to.
He steadfastly refuses to move to Hollywood, preferring to remain close to the beloved rugby team he owns, the South Sydney Rabbitohs.
Next up, Crowe is set to play a kung fu master in `The Man With the Iron Fist`.
The script was co-written by Grammy-winning producer and hip-hop star RZA and Eli Roth.
