London: Sharon Osbourne has reportedly given an ultimatum to her husband Ozzy that he should quit alcohol for good or the couple’s marriage is finished.
According to a source, Sharon has said that she is unimpressed by the Black Sabbath frontman’s claims that he is now 44 days sober, insisting that six weeks of being good is not going to make 18 months of hell go away.
The source told the Mirror that the couple have been through hell together over the years and neither wants to walk away, but the 60-year-old TV host made it clear that Ozzy’s behaviour has to change fast for their marriage to survive.
The insider said that it is the worst possible time for the 64-year-old musician to be trying to kick the habit, as he is about to spend most of the year on the world with Black Sabbath.
Another source asserted that Sharon has been involved with Black Sabbath for years, so there is not much that does not get back to her from the other members and crew.
The source said that Sharon has made it quite clear that she can’t tolerate Ozzy’s behaviour when he’s under the influence, but knows that for him it’s got to be all or nothing - he can’t be trusted to just have a couple of drinks while he is away so it needs to be a total ban on alcohol.
The source added that she has asked a few of his pals who are on the tour to keep an eye on him, for her sake and for her own.
The pair recently sparked speculation that they were splitting up after being spotted without their wedding rings while Sharon was also spotted moving into a new LA home after spending several weeks at a nearby hotel.
The couple have been living 2 miles apart for over three weeks now, and have made no effort to see one another before Ozzy jetted off on tour.
