Singer Robbie Williams takes up yoga

London: Popstar Robbie Williams is preparing for his global tour by taking yoga classes in a bid to overcome stage fright.

The singer is set to go on tour with `Take That`, rejoining the band after 15 years, and is practising strenuous Bickram Yoga to calm his nerves, reported a website.

"Rob suffers from crippling anxiety and has been worried about the lads` forthcoming concerts. A pal suggested Bikram yoga to refocus his pent up energy and handle stress
more effectively," said a source close to the 38-year-old singer.

The `Angels` hitmaker has been attending the sessions for the last three months, which see him strike a number of meditative poses in a room heated to 40 degrees centigrade.

"After a couple of sessions he was hooked and sweating like a wildebeest. While the others have stuck to the gym or pool, Robbie`s been using meditation and yoga to help his
stage fright and to keep sane on tour," added the source.
