‘A very serious affair’ at WIFW by Pallavi Mohan

New Delhi: Innocent, lovable, angelic kids… holding their hands, walking on the ramp were the bewitching models. The audience clapped and cheered as the adorable pair wearing similar outfits sashayed the runway.

Fashion designer Pallavi Mohan Saturday launched a summery collection for little girls at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) which she says is aimed at making buyers conscious about the growth of designer kids wear market.

Speaking exclusively to Kakoli Sengupta of Zee News, Pallavi said, I wanted to bring out designer kids wear and showcase that fashion for little girls is not just about frocks... I want people to understand and be conscious that they can consider purchasing designer wear for their children also.”

Pallavi has carved her niche in the apparel market in a short span of time. Her successful women’s line is now followed by a kids line. Easy on details, ombradised and complimented with the beetle broaches, very feminine and classy, Pallavi’s personal style reflects in her clothing this time, comfort being her USP.

But ask her why she names it ‘Not so Serious’ and she replies
“Fun clothing makes it not so serious but the quality makes it very serious.”

Talking of her personal taste she loves Bollywood and would love to design for a film some day.
