New Delhi: Day 4 of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week saw Rehane`s funky collection, which was spicy right from the start. There were dresses which were clingy, curve-highlighting ensemble complete with puffed sleeves. The show commenced with a spunky beat and the models walked the ramp one after the other. It seemed that Rehane was all set to fly international with gold, copper and rust adorn eveningwear. She also showcased traditional Indian embroidery that is bound to be the flavour of Spring/Summer 2011. What indeed grabbed the attention of the onlookers were the deep jeweled tones that befitted the look. Fabrics were draped one over the other as grey tulle slipped over cranberry printed georgettes. The frock dresses were immersed in cascades of embossed embroideries and the eye catching grey sequined waist coat teamed with skirts made for interesting silhouettes. Spaghetti tops with heavy waterfall embroidery; structured dresses with plunging necklines till the waist coupled with leggings was one style to look out for. Gold sheathed waistcoat worn over brown dress was certainly the showstopper. The radiance of gold and silver were displayed best in Rehanne’s ultra modern blend of Indian sensibility with western silhouettes. Her collection undoubtedly will please both the Indian customers as well as the Middle Eastern clientele. It was indeed a collection to watch out for!
