Friendship Day: New friendships in Bollywood!
Ritika Handoo “Change is the only constant in life” is an old adage! The same thing can be applied to our very own desi celebs. The `friendly` equations change for them just like they pick and drop designer clothes. One day the ladies are all gung ho about each other and the very next moment, you find them turning nasty in some interview. Well, on this friendship day, let`s take a look at some of the most interesting and new-found friendships in Bollywood.
Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn The king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan is on a patch-up spree this season or so it seems. The 48-year-old actor was rumoured to be sharing cold vibes with `Action` Devgn, ever since their movies `Jab Tak Hain Jaan` and `Son of Sardar` clashed at the box office. But now, from what we hear, the actors have buried the hatchet and SRK even hugged and made up with Kajol`s hubby dearest. Reportedly, the credit goes to director Rohit Shetty. Good going guys.
Karan Johar and Salman Khan The director who was once associated with just one actor—Shah Rukh Khan, is now signing another one (read Salman Khan) for his magnum opus `Shhuddhi`. Karan Johar is the man in question here. The ace filmmaker is minting money with all his films doing great business at the Box Office. And industry circles are buzzing with the latest gossip that KJo is now on great terms with Sallu bhai. So much so, that he has signed Salman and not Shah Rukh for his next big project. Well, the former even appeared on his chat show for the first time in the pilot whereas the latter decided to give it a miss this season. With Karan-Salman hand-in-hand, will we see the trio back together like in `Kuch Kuch Hota Hai`?
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Katrina Kaif Cat fights are quite common in Bollywood and seldom does one hear that top actress hung out together! But these two proved everyone wrong. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Katrina Kaif are bonding well of late, much to the surprise of many. It was quite evident on Karan Johar`s chat show `Koffee with Karan` that Bebo is fond of Kat, as she was seen pulling brother Ranbir Kapoor`s leg more than once mentioning latter`s name. Also, Katrina and Kareena were seen having a good time together with Saif at the sets of `Phantom`. We like that ladies!
Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor The girls belong to the gen-next of Bollywood. Both Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor have it in them and they like to flaunt it too. With their respective films entering the 100 crore club easily within days of release, the girls too like to hang out with each other. Unlike their contemporaries, both Alia and Shraddha are often seen clicking pictures at parties and even share common friends in the industry. The young brigade is indeed impressive.
Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin Well, this one comes as a surprise. Actress Kalki Koechlina and Huma Qureshi have been spotted together more than once. Incidentally, it was reported by many that Huma is the one responsible for Kalki and Anurag Kashyap`s break-up. However, it was Kalki who came out in her support and clarified that their separation has nothing to do with Huma. She even pleaded the media to leave the girl (Huma) alone. Now, this is called open-minded friendship.
