Anushka Sharma sports traditional chooda, looks resplendent at post-wedding DJ bash

Mumbai: Anushka Sharma is glowing and we all know why. The pretty Bollywood actress recently got married to the love of her life- Virat Kohli – at an intimate wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. The power couple announced their marriage by issuing a joint statement along with images from their wedding ceremony. And now, we have another interesting photo to share.

We came across a post-wedding DJ bash photo on Twitter. The pic in question was shared by one of Anushka’s fan clubs on the micro-blogging site. In the pic, we can see Anushka striking a pose probably with a guest.

She is wearing a long peach gown with some sequin work around the waist. But her bright red and ivory traditional Punjabi chooda (an ornament worn my married Punjabi women) stand apart and so does her engagement ring.

Her hands designed with mehendi too add to her beauty.  

Anushka and Virat will throw a bash in Delhi on December 21 and another one in Mumbai on December 26 before flying to South Africa to ring in the New Year.

After returning from a short vacation, Anushka will continue shooting for Aanand L Rai’s untitled film with her first co-star Shah Rukh Khan. Then she is expected to join the sets of Yash Raj Films’ Sui Dhaaga which has Varun Dhawan on board as the male lead. And she may simultaneously promote her third home production – Pari – which comes across as a supernatural thriller.

Virat on the other hand will lead India in a two-month series against South Africa which includes three test matches, 6 One Day Internationals and 3 20-20 contests.
