New Delhi: A 13-year-old boy from Bangladesh, who has a football-sized hernia bursting out from his stomach, struggles daily to live normally.

It is said that Mohammad Sabuz has seen the tumour grow every day since he was born.

According to a report in Daily Mail, Mohammad's poverty-stricken family have been thrown a lifeline after a social activist highlighted his tragic case to authorities.

Bangladeshi health officials have come to the teenager's rescue and agreed to pay for his treatment to do something about the lump.

As per the reports, medical experts at Dhaka Medical College Hospital have said that he is suffering from a complex ventral hernia.

Ventral hernia, commonly known hernia, is a bulge of tissues shooting through an opening of weakness within the abdominal wall muscles.

13-year-old boy's case was highlighted by local social activist Mamun Bishwas.

His repeated pleas helped raise some money that the boy's family were able to put towards the treatment.
