New Delhi: Nowadays, we have become so addicted to the digital world. We are so hooked to our smartphones and often find ourselves constantly using various social media apps to get in touch with our friends and family. With the advancement of technology, our lives have become easier but it has a negative effect on our health.Though our life has become unimaginable without technology, but now there is a dire need for a digital detox.
Here are some signs that shows you need to go on a digital detox:
- If you check your smartphones and social media apps like Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter and Instagram as soon as you wake up, then it is a sign that you need to go for digital detox.
- If your smartphone isn’t within your arm’s reach, then you get very anxious and restless. And you also don't remember the last time you spent more than half an hour away from your phone.
- You are constantly checking your phone or social apps for notifications even while you’re watching TV or eating.
- Even after a long tired day at work, you spend hours scrolling through your social media accounts before falling asleep.
- You are out with your friends and family to spend some quality time with them but you’re constantly on your phone, checking notifications on your social media apps, instead of indulging in conversations.
