New Delhi: A 17-year-old girl named Kate Dranfield from UK thinks that she is 120 different people.

This is because she suffers from a daydreaming disorder that causes her to transform from young to old, male to female, transgender to hetrosexual, etc. Strangely, most of the characters have American accents.

According to a report in Daily Mail, Dranfield said the characters play out storylines in her mind when she uncontrollably zones out for hours.

The teenager's daydreaming condition has left her isolated and unable to make friends in the real world.

The bizarre episodes can be triggered at any time, especially when she is tired or stressed. She also feels unwell if her characters are ill.

Reportedly, Kate has self-diagnosed herself with maladaptive daydreaming (MDD). The disorder isn't medically recognised, that is why she is unable to get help for it.

The 17-year-old has been suffering from the disorder since the age of six and remembers all the characters' names and personalities.

To cope with the disorder, she has six fake dolls which she uses as a distraction.
