London: Wicketkeeper Matt Prior has insisted England will always remain his priority despite putting his name forward for the Indian Premier League.
The 30-year-old could join team-mates Kevin Pietersen and Eoin Morgan in the mega-bucks Twenty20 tournament after signing up for its player auction on February 3. Prior said has decided to go into this year`s IPL auction as he is currently playing only one format. Prior has been overlooked by England in limited overs cricket since the 2011 World Cup. Prior would be available from the start of the IPL on April 3. But he would need to be back in time to play one first-class game for Sussex before the summer`s First Test against New Zealand at Lord`s on May 16. ANI
