Manchester City are now wholly owned by Arab billionaire Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan after the Premier League club said Wednesday he had bought the remaining 10 percent of the shares.

London: Manchester City are now wholly owned by Arab billionaire Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan after the Premier League club said Wednesday he had bought the remaining 10 percent of the shares."Manchester City can confirm a transaction involving 10 percent of the shares of Manchester City Football Club Limited has been completed," a statement said.
"The 10 percent of shares, previously owned by Worldwide Investments Limited, has now been transferred to ADUG, the wholly owned company of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for an undisclosed sum." Sheikh Mansour took control of the club last year from former Thailand Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra and has transformed them into title contenders with a series of big money signings including Robinho, Carlos Tevez, Gareth Barry and Emmanuel Adebayor.
