West has invited Kate Moss to share the stage with him at a music festival.

London: Rapper Kanye West has reportedly invited supermodel Kate Moss to share the stage with him at a music festival.

The British model was pleasantly surprised when the `Stronger` hitmaker invited her to perform with him at the South by South West festival which will be held in Texas, reported a daily. The 33-year-old had struck up a friendship with the model at Paris Fashion Week and her rapping impressed him. "Kate brought him into her inner circle at the Givenchy afterparty. Kate was rapping to Kanye and it wasn`t long before they had a crowd around them. Kanye made up a freestyle on the spot for Kate, who was blushing," said a source close to the 37-year-old catwalk beauty. "He then asked her to be on stage with him in Texas and she was taken aback," added the source. Moss, has earlier sung live with former boyfriend Pete Doherty, joining him and his group Babyshambles to provide vocals for their duet `La Belle et la Bete` several times in 2005 and 2006. She has also provided vocals on tracks by `The Lemonheads` and `Primal Scream`. PTI
