Dehra Dun: With barely a few days left
for Uttarakhand polls, the kin of candidates contesting in the
elections have taken centre stage in campaigning.

Khanduri, is drumming up support for her husband by camping in
Kotdwar, the seat from where he is contesting.
"I will do my best to see that my husband wins with a
handsome margin," she said.

Doiwala constituency this time, has become a prominent face in

candidates are leading the charge to seek votes.
Suman Kishore, a mother of two, is trying to woo voters
of Jakhanidhar and New Tehri areas in Tehri constituency,
where her husband and Congress leader Kishore Upadhayay is
seeking to score a hat-trick this time.
"Our campaign is going on very well with the blessings of
god. My husband has already won twice from Tehri. With the
blessings of people and almighty, he will be third time
lucky," Kishore, who is campaigning door-to-door seeking
"I hardly get time for my home these days. I remain busy
contacting people and seeking votes," Bhavna Agarwal, the
wife of Congress leader Dinesh Agarwal who is contesting from
Dharampur seat in Dehradun district said.
Amit Kapoor, a BJP leader and son of the speaker of the
state assembly Harbans Kapoor, is also trying hard that his
father wins for the eighth time in succession from Dehra Dun
