Hardoi/Pratapgarh: Alleging the Centre was
creating hindrances in development of Uttar Pradesh, BSP chief
and Chief Minister Mayawati on Wednesday said the economic package
sought by the state was not given to it.
"The Congress did not want to see development of the
state. That is why it did not accept the proposal for division
of the state into three parts," she said.

supremo asserted anyone trying to disrupt the free and fair
poll in the state would be dealt with sternly.
