The new generation train was launched in Jilin province`s capital Changchun.
The trains, of which China has intellectual property rights, will run for the first time on the Beijing-Shanghai high speed track to be opened in 2011, Dong Xiaofeng, chairman of Changchun Railway Vehicles Co. Ltd., was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
The company is a subsidiary of China CNR Corp., one of the country`s two train makers.
High-speed trains with maximum operating speed of 350 km have been running on three lines that link Beijing and Tianjin, Wuhan and Guangzhou, Zhengzhou and Xi`an.
