Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister
Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hold three campaign rallies in
Uttar Pradesh, including one at Charkhari from where senior
BJP leader Uma Bharti is contesting the assembly election.
"I will go to Uttar Pradesh for campaigning on February
3, and address three poll-meetings, including one at
Charkhari," Chouhan told reporters after the cabinet meeting
To a question on his proposed Moun Vrat (vow of silence)
to protest delay by the Centre in giving assent to the Madhya
Pradesh Special Courts Bill, Chouhan said he was not going
ahead with it now, as the Union Home Minister, P Chidambaram,
had forwarded the bill to the President.
When asked for comment on Congress leaders observing
silence in a counter to his vow, Chouhan said that the
opposition was always aping the ruling BJP.
