Stockholm: SSP Chowrasia and Shiv Kapur carded identical one-under 71s to be tied 22nd after the opening round of the Nordea Scandinavian Masters golf tournament here.
Both Chowrasia and Kapur picked up three birdies against a couple of bogeys each.
A 10th tee starter, Chowrasia completed his first nine even-par after his birdie on the 12th was negated by a dropped shot on the 14th.
But he managed to end the day one-under after slotting two birdies against a bogey.
Kapur, on the hand, made amends for a front nine slump in his flawless back-nine.
After back-to-back bogeys on the sixth and seventh, Kapur found his first birdie on the ninth to make the turn one-over.
On his way back, Kapur gained strokes on the 10th and 15th to round off a reasonably good day.
The third Indian in fray, Jyoti Randhawa, also a 10th tee starter, withdrew from the field after going six-over in his first nine itself.
