CWG media comm takes stock of media centre preparedness

The Delhi Commonwealth Games media committee met at the OC headquarters and took a stock of the progress made by the organisers in the construction of the media centre at the Pragati Maidan here for the October 3-14 megaevent.

New Delhi: The Delhi Commonwealth Games media committee met at the OC headquarters and took a stock of the progress made by the organisers in the construction of the media centre at the Pragati Maidan here for the October 3-14 megaevent.The meeting was attended by senior journalists Rahul Singh, Raminder Singh, former media advisor to the Prime Minister Rammohan Rao, Member of Parliament Trilochan Singh, SPS Dhillon (Jt Director of Orgainsing Committee) among others.During the meeting the members discussed in detail the progress made by the Organising Committee (OC) in setting up the media centre which will cater to over 2,000 Indian and 500 foreign journalists, according to Jagmohan Bhanot, Officer on Special Duty Commonwealth Games.
