Ghosal, Pallikal leads Indian charge in PSA and WISPA Masters

Ace racqueters Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal will spearhead Indian challenge in the PSA and WISPA Masters squash meet, which will see some of the world`s best in the business, participating at the Siri Fort Sports Complex.

New Delhi: Ace racqueters Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal will spearhead Indian challenge in the PSA and WISPA Masters squash meet, which will see some of the world`s best in the business, participating at the Siri Fort Sports Complex here from December 12-19.
Apart from big names such as Egyptian Ramy Ashour and England`s Nick Matthew and beside Ghosal and Pallikal, the eight-day event will also feature Indian ace Joshna Chinappa, in the women`s sections. The PSA Masters will also feature third-ranked Karim Darwish of Egypt, England`s James Willstrop and Egyptian Amr Shabana, who complete the top five. Among other Indians, the WISPA event will include qualifiers Anaka Alankamony, Surbhi Misra, Aparajitha Balamurukan, Anwesha Reddy and Harshit Kaur Jawanda. In the men`s section, 117th ranked Indian Harinder Pal Sandhu has been given a wild card entry. But Siddharth Suchde, Gaurav Nandrajog, Ramit Tandon, Ravi Dixit and Sandeep Jangra will have to go through the qualifiers. The PSA Masters, 2010, is the second largest event on the international calendar for professional men`s squash, while the WISPA Masters is a silver category event on the international calendar for women`s professional squash.
