Hardev Jadeja to Indian delegation for AFC Challenge Cup 2010

Hardev Jadeja has been appointed as head of the delegation for the AFC Challenge Cup 2010 scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka from February 16 to 27, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) said today.

Jadeja is treasurer of AIFF and former general secretary of the Gujarat Football Association and Baroda District Football Association, an AIFF statement said. India is in group `B`, along with DPR Korea, Turkmenistan and Kyrgystan. Group A consists of Tajikistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. India will begin its campaign in the AFC Cup against Krgyzsthan on February 17, and will face Turkmenistan on Feb 19 and DPR Korea on Feb 21. Talking to PTI here today, Jadeja said, "the Indian team for the AFC Cup, now attending camp at Pune, will leave for Colombo via Chennai on February 14." PTI
