Harsh in semis of Champaign event

New Delhi: Harsh Mankad and his partner Treat Conard Huey rallied from a set down to advance to the

doubles semifinals of the ATP Challenger event in Champaign, United States. The second seeded Indo-Filipino pair overcame Dominic Inglot of Britain and American Rylan Rizza 3-6 7-6 (5) 10-7 in a gruelling quarter-final encounter of the USD 50,000 hard court event. They next face fourth seeds Martin Emmrich of Germany and Andreas Siljetsrom of Sweden. No Indian is competing in the singles event. Somdev had withdrawn after sustaining a right shoulder injury.
