Kapur slips to tied 61st after Rd3 in Austrian Open

An erratic four-over 76 in the third round saw Indian golfer Shiv Kapur slip to the tied 61st spot in the Austrian Open.

Atzenbrugg: An erratic four-over 76 in the third round saw Indian golfer Shiv Kapur slip to the
tied 61st spot in the Austrian Open here. Kapur`s overall total stood at three-over 218 after the penultimate round. On a roller-coaster day, Kapur started off poorly by dropping a double bogey on the very first hole. He followed it up with a couple of birdies and an equal number of bogeys in the front nine to make the turn two-over. The back-nine started in similar fashion as he stumbled to a double bogey on the 10th hole. A bogey on the 11th and a birdie on the 12th completed the topsy-turvy day for Kapur, who was tied 28th to start with after a blemish-free six-under 66 in the second round. Englishmen David Lynn (64) and Danny Willett (65) shared the lead with totals of 13-under 203. PTI
