London: Samantha Burke, who is said to be pregnant with Jude Law’s baby, had a docile image and barely had any boyfriends until her fling with the actor, it has emerged.
According to the sources, Burke was innocent and inexperienced with men before she met the womanising actor, which has made her family to unable to come to terms with the circumstances she is currently facing.
"Samantha`s family are finding this very tough because it is so unlike her. That`s part of the reason it is such a shock,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
"It`s not like she`s a maneater. In fact nothing could be further from the truth.
"She`s actually innocent and inexperienced when it comes to men. Growing up, she barely had any boyfriends. Jude is one of the first men she`s had in her life that we know of," the source added.
Also, her schoolmate Sam at WJ Woodham High School in Pensacola, Florida, has revealed that the model had hardly ever linked up with any boy.
He said, "Sam was very beautiful and well presented. She was tall and good looking and definitely stood out around the school.
"But she didn`t get hit on as much as you`d think. She was a very sweet girl and didn`t flaunt her looks and guys tended to keep their distance.
"You didn`t see her on the arms of different guys all the time -in fact I don`t remember seeing her with any guys at all," he added.
Samantha is expecting a baby girl on October 6, whom she has decided to call Sophia.
Law and Burke had a brief fling at Christmas in New York last year.
