Lahiri ends tied 21st in King`s Cup

Anirban Lahiri was the lone Indian to break par with a three-under 69 to sign off the highest among his compatriots at tied 21st in the Asian Tour`s King`s Cup on Sunday.

Lahiri ended his campaign with a total of two-under 286. Himmat Rai was the next best-placed Indian at tied 30th after an even-par 72 in the final round left his overall total at 288. Amardip Malik (77) and Firoz Ali (74) shared the 49th position with totals of six-over 294. Thailand`s Udorn Duangdecha sparked a superb final day charge to win his maiden Asian Tour title. Udorn, who entered the final round five strokes off the lead, fired a sparkling six-under 66 for a four-day total of 12-under 276 for a two-stroke victory at the Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club. PTI
