Nadal overtakes Murray in ATP rankings

Rafael Nadal moved up one place to third, overtaking Britain`s Andy Murray in the men`s ATP rankings on Monday thanks to the Spaniard reaching the Miami Maters semi-finals.

Miami champion Andy Roddick of the United States also moved up one place, to seventh place, while Murray slipped to fourth. Czech player Tomas Berdych was the beaten finalist in Miami but thanks to his impressive campaign in Florida he was the biggest mover, up four places to 16th. Swiss Roger Federer was a fourth round victim of Berdych`s in Miami, but remains well ahead of the bunch.
