NFL great Randy Moss announces retirement

National Football League (NFL) star Randy Moss has announced his retirement after a glittering 13-year-career.

California: National Football League (NFL) star Randy Moss has announced his retirement after a glittering 13-year-career.

“Randy has weighed his options and considered the offers and has decided to retire,” Moss’ agent Joel Segal was quoted, as saying by the Age.
Moss shares second spot with Terrell Owens on the list for all-time touchdown list for NFL receivers. He caught 954 career passes for 14,858 yards, both figures ranking among the top eight for all-time NFL receivers.

Moss spent seven seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, struggled in a two-year stay at Oakland, then revived his career in 2007 when he caught a one-season record 23 touchdown passes from Tom Brady and helped the New England Patriots reach the Super Bowl, The Age reports.
Moss finished his career by playing eight games with the Tennessee Titans at the end of last season, catching six passes.
