Mumbai: The Indian cricket board on Thursday dropped a bombshell, sacking Team India’s bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad and fielding coach Robin Singh.
Of late, India’s bowling and fielding had come in for a lot of flak, especially during the just concluded Champions Trophy.
The BCCI made the shock announcement and the duo’s contact stands annulled with immediate effect.Prasad and Robin Singh had taken over the reins in May 2007.Reasons for their dismissal are as yet unavailable.
