New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Chennai and Tirupati on a two-day visit beginning tomorrow, the first after he assumed the office.
In Chennai, the President shall tomorrow attend the valedictory function of the sesquicentennial celebrations of the Madras High Court.
He will also deliver an address at a felicitation function organised by the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
"In Tirupati, the President will inaugurate the Nandakam Complex of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on September 9, 2012," a Rashtrapati Bhavan spokesman said in a statement.
The President would also visit the S V Vedapatasala, Dharmagiri.
Mukherjee will return to New Delhi on the same day, it said.
