Rahman gets BAFTA nomination for `127 Hours` music

Oscar-winning Indian music composer AR Rahman has been nominated for BAFTA.

London: Oscar-winning Indian music composer A.R. Rahman has been nominated for the British Academy of Films and Television Arts (BAFTA) award for original music in Danny Boyle`s `127 Hours`. This is the second time he is nominated for the BAFTA.

The composer, who lost out on the Golden Globe award for the film this year to `The Social Network`, has been nominated alongside Danny Elfman (`Alice In Wonderland`), John Powell (`How To Train Your Dragon`), Hans Zimmer (`Inception`) and Alexandre Desplat (`The King`s Speech`).

Last year, Rahman was in competition for his Oscar-winning music in "Slumdog Millionaire", and he won the prestigious award.
