Rajiv Gupta new CJ of Chhattisgarh High Court

Justice Rajiv Gupta on Saturday took oath as the Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court.

Raipur, Feb 02: Justice Rajiv Gupta on Saturday took oath
as the Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court.
Governor E S L Narasimhan administered oath of office to
Gupta in a function at the Raj Bhawan here.

Chief Minister Raman Singh, assembly Speaker Prem
Prakash Pandey and other dignitaries were present on the
occasion.

Gupta, who was the Chief Justice of Uttaranchal,
replaced Jagdish Bhalla, who has been transferred to Himachal
Pradesh.
