Mumbai: Local outfit Mumbai FC failed to
make use of the home advantage as they played out a goal-less
draw against Churchill Brothers in a round 25 I-League match
at the Cooperage ground.
A win could have placed the local side in a much better
position but today`s draw means that the Mumbai outfit have to
win against Mohun Bagan in their last match to fancy any
chances of saving themselves from relegation.
Following the draw, Mumbai FC have 26 points from 25
matches and are second from bottom in the points table.
Churchill moved to the second position in the table,
having accumulated 39 points from 23 games.
