Panaji: Vasco SC striker Koko Sakibo has agreed to join Churchill Brothers in a move that will see his
earnings rise to three fold. The Nigerian, who scored 12 goals in the Goa Professional League and six out of seven matches that he played in the final round of the 2nd division of the I League, have impressed Churchill Brothers management who have roped him to partner Odafe Okolie for the next season. His signing will find no place for Felix Chimaokwu. Japanese midfielder Dan Ito is also expected to be replaced by Salgaocar`s Iranian defender Siavash Samienia. Churchill Bros main setback is the departure of Kalu Nnanna to Dempo, who are on the lookout for quality foreign midfielder to shore up their brittle midfield with the departure of Nascimento Silveira (Chirag United) and R Vashum (East Bengal). Churchill`s main gain is Mahindra`s Steven Dias, Denzil Franco and Mohammed Rafi and Dhanraj Ravanan who all have agreed to sign for them. The other new recruits are: Chitra Sen, Siavash Samienia (Salgaocar), Rauf Khan (Pune FC), Hardeep Singh (TFA), Sunil Bhalia (Assam), Israil Gurung (Sesa FA). PTI
