Tomar to lead Indian challenge in Dave Schultz wrestling
New Delhi: Olympian Rajiv Tomar will spearhead Indian challenge in the Dave Schultz International wrestling tournament scheduled to be held from February 3-6 at Colorado Springs in the United States.
The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) announced a 27-strong list of grapplers who will participate in the event.
"The Selection Committee of Wrestling Federation of India has selected the following wrestlers for participation in the 2010 Dave Schultz International Free Style, Greco Roman Style and Female Wrestling Tournament to be held at Colorado Springs (USA), a WFI release said.
Free Style: Vinod Kumar (55 Kg), Anil Kumar (55 Kg), Rahul Mann (60 Kg), Rajneesh Kumar (60 Kg), Amit Kumar Dhankar (66 Kg), Sumit (74 Kg), Narsingh Yadav (74kg), Naresh Kumar (84 Kg), Ram Vir (84 Kg), Anil Mann (96 Kg), Mausham Khatri (96 Kg), Joginder Kumar (120 Kg), Rajeev Tomar (120 Kg).
