Trains extended to Aluva to help sivarathri devotees

Kochi: The Southern Railway would extend some trains to nearby Aluva to help devotees offer prayers in connection with `Maha Sivarathri` Festival.

Train No 633 Coimbatore-Trichur Passenger of Feb 12, will be extended to Aluva and on Feb 13, Train No 615 Trichur-Kannur Passenger will start from Aluva station instead of Thrissur, a railways press release said.

Train No 633 passenger will start from Trichur station on Feb 12 at 20.50 hours and will reach Aluva at 22.40 hours.

Train No 615 Trichur- Kannur passenger will start from
Aluva station at 04.25 hours on Feb 13 and will reach Trichur
at 5.45 hours. This train will pick up the normal timings from
Trichur. These trains will stop at all the stations in between
Aluva and Trichur, it said.

In connection with the `Maramon` convention, Train Nos.6303/6304 Ernakulam-Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam Vanchinad express will be augmented with additional coaches from Feb 14 to Feb 21 for 8 days, the release added.
