New Delhi: In a new turn of events in the suspected suicide of Viveka Babajee, the model’s landlord on Tuesday revealed that she wasn’t on good terms with her business partner Karthik, and the two also used to indulge in fights over business matters.
The statement contradicts Karthik’s claim that he had not met Viveka for the past six months.
Meanwhile, three days after Viveka’s death, her alleged boyfriend Gautam Vora today refused to make any public clarification, even as the police grilled him in connection with the case.
Gautam had moved court seeking an anticipatory bail, the hearing of which will be held today. Reports said the police, which interrogated Gautam for three and a half hours, is likely to book Karthik and Viveka’s former boyfriend Rohit Jugraj.
Babajee killed herself by hanging from the ceiling at her Continental Towers flat in suburban Bandra on June 25. Police are carrying out their investigation on the basis of things like mobile phone, laptop, diary and a few letters addressed to Vora, that were recovered from Viveka’s residence.
