Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met a group of over 100 youth and children from Jammu and Kashmir who are currently touring different parts of India as part of the initiative 'watan ko jaano'. 

The PM answered a number of questions that they asked on infrastructure development, sports facilities in the state, education and employment opportunities and so on.

They were also curious about PM Modi's work routine. 

Interacting with them, the PM spoke of the efforts being made by the government to improve connectivity and infrastructure in J&K.

At the same time, he emphasised the importance of sports, and sportsman spirit among people and added that "working hard is never a cause for exhaustion and completion of a task brings satisfaction", as per PIB

Minister of State in the PMO, Jitendra Singh, was also present on the occasion.

Later the PM tweeted: "Had a great interaction with youth from Jammu and Kashmir who are touring different parts of India as a part of 'watan ko jaano' initiative. We had a discussion on various issues like infrastructure development, sports facilities, education and employment opportunities in J&K."
