SRINAGAR: As many as 10 CRPF jawans sustained injuries on Tuesday after terrorists hurled grenades at Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place in Anantnag's Sadar.

The heavily-armed terrorists attacked the security personnel in the wee hours of Tuesday. The injuries are said to be minor. The jawans have, meanwhile, been admitted to the hospital.

The incident comes barely hours after some unidentified terrorists attacked a police guard post in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district which claimed lives of two policemen.

Three other policemen reportedly sustained injuries in the heavy exchange of fire after the attack.

A group of three-four terrorists had opened fire at the police guard post, killing two policemen.

The police personnel deployed on duty retaliated and a heavy exchange of fire took place from sides. However, the terrorists managed to flee from the spot.
