J&K cop clicks pictures of a woman in Ganderbal, taken hostage by locals

Jammu: A Jammu and Kashmir policeman was on Saturday taken hostage by locals for allegedly taking pictures of a woman in Ganderbal.

According to reports, the cop allegedly took pictures of a woman while she was standing at the Manigam Bypass in Ganderbal.

The cop was taken hostage by the locals after the woman raised objections.

The cop was later handed over to the local police and a case was also registered against him.

He has been formally arrested, according to ANI. 

The incident was reported on a day when two top LeT terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter in Pulwama by the securiuty forces, triggering violent protest by the locals.
