Terrorists attack police post in J&K's Shopian, hurl grenade

Srinagar: A group of terrorists attacked a police post in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. 

The attack was carried out at the Panjar area of Keegam of Shopian district. 

As per a report, the terrorists hurled a grenade at the police station however, the grenade failed to explode. The grenade landed close to the gate of police station, as per Hindustan Times.

The bomb  disposal squad was informed after which a team of officials reached the spot and destroyed the device.

The terrorists managed to escape from the scene after the attack, as per a ANI report. 

No injuries were reported in the incident.
