Srinagar: An assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police was shot at and injured by militants in south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday, police said.
Militants fired at and injured ASI Abdul Rashid, who was on duty without a weapon at Mehandi Kadal in Anantnag, this afternoon, a police official said.
He said the policeman received bullet injury in his abdomen and has been shifted to district hospital Anantnag.
