LIVE - Maddur Election Results 2018

Maddur (Gen) is an Assembly constituency in the Mandya district and southern region of Karnataka and is a part of the Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency. There are a total number of 2,02,418 registered voters in this constituency, according to the poll panel. Results for the Maddur Assembly constituency in Karnataka, polling for which was held on May 12, will be announced on May 15, 2018. JD-S candidate D. C. Thammanna had won from this seat in the 2013 Karnataka Assembly Elections. The JD-S candidate got 80,926 votes. He won with a margin of 31,958 votes (20.45%) securing 51.79% of the total votes polled. He defeated Madhu G Madegowda of the INC who secured 48,968 votes. The Maddur seat witnessed a voter turnout of 79.45% in the 2013 assembly polls. JD(S) won this seat in the 2008 Assembly Elections with a margin of 7,590 votes (5.6%) registering 36.85% of the votes polled.
