New Delhi: Be it sending an ambulance or attending patients on time, government hospitals in India are on a splurge of denial.

In yet another case, a pregnant woman in Kerala was refused to be admitted at a government hospital due to unavailability of doctors.

The incident took place at Vadakkethara near Pazhayannur on Tuesday.

Sukanya, wife of Rajesh from Kumbalakode Mattinmukal Malayan colony was rushed to the hospital at around 11:00 pm at night.

The tribal woman, who was almost at the verge of delivery, was denied admission by the hospital authority.

After facing refusal from the hospital staff, the woman decided to go back home as she was running short of money. While she was heading home in an autorickshaw, Sukanya gave birth to a baby.

Following the incident, the Panchayat authorities and police admitted her to a government hospital in Thrissur.
