Rangana Herath and Tharindu Kaushal spun a web around India's famed batting line-up to help Sri Lanka win the 1st Test by 63 runs.

Kaushal and Herath polished off India's innings as they sent Mishra and Rahane packing. The duo helped the home side script a famous win. Virat Kohli will not be happy with this side's abject batting failure.

It was Herath once again who got Sri Lankans their first wicket after lunch. Ashwin played a short against the turn and chipped the ball to mid-on. Prasad completed a fine catch to help the hosts inch closer to a famous win.

India require another 98 runs with 3 wickets remaining. They have lost 6 wickets in the morning with Herath and Kaushal running riot. Rahane and Ashwin will need to play a blinder if India are to turn this around.

Herath bagged his fifth wicket of the innings as he dismissed Bhajji. The ball ricocheted off the right-hander's pad on to his bat. Silva at short-leg pulled off a stunning one-handed catch as had to dive forward on the pitch. Ravichandran Ashwin is the new man in for India.

Saha was drawn out by a tossed up delivery from Herath. The right-hander tried to flick it on the leg side, but the ball spun after pitching and deceived him. Chandimal had plenty of time to take off the bails and made no mistake. This Test has turned on its head. Sri Lanka are now in the driving seat. New batsman - Harbhajan Singh.

Kaushal picked up his second wicket of the innings as he sent Dhawan back into the hut. The left-hander tried to guide the ball, against the turn, into the vacant mid-wicket area, only managing to pop it straight back to the bowler. The off-spinner pulled off a superb catch, diving to his left. The hosts are now right back into this match.

Kaulshal bagged the prized scalp of Kohli as he tried to work the ball on the on-side. On pitching, the spinning ball took an edge of the right-hander's bat, then pad to go straight into the hands of the short-leg fielder. Silva completed a very sharp catch. Rahane walks in with his side in deep trouble.

Herath drew Rohit forward with a delivery pitched on middle and off. On pitching, the ball spun past the right-hander's outside edge to hit his off-stump. Another failure for the Mumbai batsman. Virat Kohli walks in to bat with India in a spot of bother. Sri Lankans are not giving up without a fight here in Galle.

Herath picked up a wicket in his very first over of the day as he trapped nightwatchman Ishant LBW. Rohit Sharma walked out to bat after India lost their 2nd wicket. The visitors would now want to achieve the target without any further hiccups.

Angelo Mathews have has rung in several bowling changes already. Pradeep, Prasad, Kaushal and the skipper himself have rolled their arm over in a bid to find an early breakthrough. Ishant and Dhawan made a cautious so far and have now put together 18 runs for the 2nd wicket.
