Mumbai: In a filmy-style heist, Rs 3 crores in cash was stolen by a group of robbers in Mumbai.

The huge amount was stolen from a Bank of Baroda branch in Navi Mumbai on November 12, 2017.

The incident was captured in a CCTV.

The CCTV footage shows three thieves walking away with the money and valuables from the bank early morning.

It was reported that robbers dug a 25-feet tunnel to reach the lockers of a bank and decamped with money and valuables.

Investigators said the tunnel was dug from an adjoining shop outside the bank's store room, which houses private lockers rented out to people for safekeeping of valuable and documents.

According to the police official, the robbers used the tunnel to reach the bank and walked away with valuables stored in 30 of 225 lockers.

The matter came to light on November 13 morning when the bank staff went to the locker room and found the vaults open.
